Hey everyone!
Lately, I’ve been getting a lot of messages asking if my new Sorcery original paintings are already available for sale…
For those of you who don't know, let me explain:
What is Sorcery: The Contested Realm?
Sorcery: Contested Realm is created and released by Erik’s Curiosa Limited and was first launched via Kickstarter in March 2022. It’s a collectible card game with beautiful artwork, and I’m so lucky to be one of the artists.
The new chapter, called “Gothic”, will be released on December 5th, and I’ve painted a ton of new artworks, and I cannot wait to share them with you! Mark your calendars, because I’ll be releasing the ORIGINAL paintings here on Patreon first, exclusively for you!
But here is a little sneak peak:

My "Sorcery-Story":
Back in 2019, Erik Olofsson, the founder of Sorcery, asked me to paint a few pieces for the game. I was thrilled but had no idea how the project would evolve.

I sold all 5 originals to Erik’s Curiosa Limited, and my artworks became part of the very first decks:
- Atlantean Fate
- Remote Desert
- Arid Desert
- Red Desert
- Water Castle

Artist Proofs
In 2023, I received 25 unique blank artist proof cards in a beautiful signed album from Erik.

These are special cards where my artwork appears on the front, and the back is blank, so the artist can add extra paintings or signatures. At first, I didn’t know how to price them, so the first ones went for quite cheap, but prices increased with each card I sold.

When the Kickstarter reached the $1M milestone, we got the initial teaser of the Curio Card concept, described as “very rare Mystery cards showcasing the history of Sorcery’s creation.” My artwork Water Castle was one of these super rare cards.

Card Altering:
After all my artist proof cards were gone, collectors started requesting “alterings” - sending me normal cards with my artwork printed on them to overpaint them, while keeping the card title and text-box intact. Painting so tiny was challenging, but I loved every second. I did a lot of these commissions, and it was such a joy.

So, that’s my full Sorcery story! I’m really looking forward to December, even though I know it will be a busy and stressful period. I can’t wait to share all the new originals with you!
